Schedule 40 PVC Pipe
Schedule 40 PVC pipe (Polyvinyl Chloride) is manufactured by two of the largest PVC companies in the United States, Charlotte Pipe and Georg Fischer. Schedule 40 PVC pipe is standard white in color but can also be purchased in the gray color when available. Schedule 40 PVC pipe is commonly used in aquatic parks, industrial swimming pools, irrigation and landscaping. Schedule 40 PVC pipe can be installed by using standard PVC cement and primer. Pipe ranges in sizes from ½” up through 24”, comes with plain ends or belled ends and is standard 20’ sections. Schedule 40 PVC pipe, depending on size, can handle different levels of pressures and is good for temperatures that range up to 140 degrees Fahrenheit.
